Philosophy
The Rons management philosophy consists of the following axioms:
- The world is VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) and is in a polycrisis.
- Technological advancement and progress drive proliferation of objects and a world full of unpredictable, powerful entities that have their own agency.
- The belief in quick solutions and a psychological focus often lead to a disregard for risk.
- Organizations, teams, and people are robust and resistant to change.
- A better understanding of the world requires a multidisciplinary approach and a departure from linear thinking and a psychological bias.
- Objects are equal in agency and have both an external appearance and an internal, private, meaningful world.
- Resilience, corruption, lack of innovation and creativity, mismatch of values and behavior, ineffective coaching, poor change management, and low safety compliance are issues to be hacked.
- Therefore, to make a substantial difference and have true impact, often we have to ‘hack’, break and intervene invisibly or forcefully.
Hacking styles
…
White Hack:this is what most people consider as coaching, classic methods and dialogues, transparancy and monitoring in one on one conversations.
Grey Hack: There is an assignment and transparency of goals, however there is a lack of consent with the subjects, so it is an undercover operation and the coach acts as a ‘fly on the wall’.
Black Hack: No assignment, no consent; you can consider this in an activist way
